I feel like such a slacker lately.
After my last post I ended up having another flare up on the scatic nerve pain. It was so bad I had to go to the ER to get the pain under control. And there was a miscommunication problem with Will so he had no idea I was in the ER till I had been there for a while. But we have that all sorted out now. Good thing I wasnt in labor or anything like that!
Then yesterday I asked them physical therapist why my ankle was hurting so much and she said I had sprained my ankle from all the limping and extra stress I had put on it. Great... Another thing to deal with.
But I have been stuck on the couch for about 3 weeks. This isn't a lot of fun. I am glad I am not on bed rest, but a few people have speculated that I will be here until the baby is born. My OB even said he would be happy to enduce me a week early to help with the pain. But I don't want to think about the baby coming yet! I am so not ready yet!
One nice thing though is that Naomi has had Aunt Lisa be her personal play mate. She loves all the attention, but for some reason she has turned into quite the little bossy girl. I think it might be that I have not been able to give her some mommy attention, or maybe she is teething, or maybe it is just because she is two.
She has said some funny things lately though.
Will and I were taking her to Grandma K's house and we told her we were going to drop her off and she said "You are going to drop me?"
It was hilarious but sad at the same time!
Then the other day we were talking about Alana and she asked me if the baby in my belly was hers or mine. I thought it was hilarious. (I had been trying to explain to her that I have my toys and she has her toys, so she thought that baby Alana was just another toy.)
Other then that. Things are good. The tile is going in down stairs and today Will is building us some shelves for food storage.
Hope fully I won't be such a slacker and will be able to get down there to help him sometime!
