Special project

Both of my Grandmas were quilt makers. So I guess sewing runs in my blood.
My mom has commissioned me to make a crib quilt out of these quilt squares she found in my Grandma's stuff.I am so excited to do this special project!

These are the finished product from this post. They look very nice on my hubby!


I saw this post and decided I should make one of my own. I was super easy to make and turned out super cute and functional. Just make sure you get the heavy duty suction cups from the hardware store. The ones from Walmart were not worth the packaging they came in...

New Quilt Idea

My mother in law makes the best camping/picnic blankets out of denim. They are so durable, yet soft. I love them!
I was going through all my fabric scraps the other day and discovered a bunch of denim.
So I thought...hey, I should make a quilt out of this!

So that is what I will be working on between getting ready for the next boutique and the upcoming vacations!
