Custom Items for Cindy

This is a quilt, table runner, and two pillow covers for Cindy. She is going to give them to her mom who has a white and sky blue bedroom.

I sent them some pictures of some fabrics in the color scheme they wanted, they picked the fabrics, and I made it!
I hope you love it!!

Lately...

(Warning: The photos are horrible. It is really hard to edit photos while holding a baby.)

In my spare time (HAH!) I have managed to...

Make a skirt. It is too short to I have to fix that...

Create a toddler shirt out another shirt....

And can a bunch of peaches! Yummy! (Thanks mom and sisters!)

Stay tuned for more posts. I am currently working on a special order blue quilt and accessories for Cindy in the UK. I am way excited!

This was a custom order from an Etsy customer. It was my first time making one of these, but I was excited to try!
I think it turned out awesome!

New projects

I made a cute little diaper bag for my little one that is coming. I love the pattern and the colors!

I have also been working hard to some more blankets for Larkin's. These are just simple quilted blankets that they will use when a family comes into do a dressing. I made five of them! I am now a straight-line quilting super expert!

Slacker

I feel like such a slacker lately.
After my last post I ended up having another flare up on the scatic nerve pain. It was so bad I had to go to the ER to get the pain under control. And there was a miscommunication problem with Will so he had no idea I was in the ER till I had been there for a while. But we have that all sorted out now. Good thing I wasnt in labor or anything like that!
Then yesterday I asked them physical therapist why my ankle was hurting so much and she said I had sprained my ankle from all the limping and extra stress I had put on it. Great... Another thing to deal with.

But I have been stuck on the couch for about 3 weeks. This isn't a lot of fun. I am glad I am not on bed rest, but a few people have speculated that I will be here until the baby is born. My OB even said he would be happy to enduce me a week early to help with the pain. But I don't want to think about the baby coming yet! I am so not ready yet!
One nice thing though is that Naomi has had Aunt Lisa be her personal play mate. She loves all the attention, but for some reason she has turned into quite the little bossy girl. I think it might be that I have not been able to give her some mommy attention, or maybe she is teething, or maybe it is just because she is two.

She has said some funny things lately though.
Will and I were taking her to Grandma K's house and we told her we were going to drop her off and she said "You are going to drop me?"
It was hilarious but sad at the same time!
Then the other day we were talking about Alana and she asked me if the baby in my belly was hers or mine. I thought it was hilarious. (I had been trying to explain to her that I have my toys and she has her toys, so she thought that baby Alana was just another toy.)

Other then that. Things are good. The tile is going in down stairs and today Will is building us some shelves for food storage.
Hope fully I won't be such a slacker and will be able to get down there to help him sometime!

Yea!

I hit a small milestone last week! I sold my first quilt at a boutique! I have sold a few quilts before this one but this was the first time I sold one at a boutique! I was way excited!

Besides that, things have been kind of slow in the production department. My pregnancy has brought up some unexpected side effects that makes it kind of hard to sew at some times, but I got a large order from a local mortuary for some Receiving Blankets and some Dressing Blankets. So I have been working on those when ever I get a moment. I will post pics as soon as I can!

Down but not out!

For the last week I have been couch-ridden with a pinched nerve, so my usual daily duties would be falling behind if it weren't some very loving people!

Although one of the bonuses is that I have gotten to the point where I can sit up and sew! So yesterday and today I am working on some more quilts and next week I have another boutique that I need to get ready for! So much to do!!

Custom Order

This is the finish product of a custom order.

She loved the quilt in my Etsy shop so I made a crib bumper, a throw pillow, and two changing pad covers to coordinate.
Love it!
