Pink Quilt for Baby K.

Now that the shower is over I make the reveal!

I saw something like this on Pinterest and made my own pattern. The mom-to-be picked out the animal fabrics and I went from there.

Again i used my new machine and did some free-motion curly lines for the quilting. This was my first attempt at applique and I think it turned out great!

Plum and Aqua Zig Zags

Most of the time when I go fabric shopping I find some fabric that I love. I will buy it and bring it back to my stash and there it sits until inspiration strikes. Well this fabric didn't have to sit for very long! I think I bought it a week ago!

I love how dramatic the color combination is.  I love how it just takes your breath away when you first see it. I really don't think these picture do it justice.

Check out the awesome custom stitches I can do on my new sewing machine!

You can find it here on my Etsy shop.

Custom Pink Wallet

I had a customer contact me admiring this bag.....

...and she wanted to know if I could make a matching wallet based on the Vera Bradley pocket wallet. So this is what I came up with.

It is quilted denim on the outside with a velcro closure. The inside has lot of little pockets including a money fold, a zipper pocket, and clear ID pocket!

The pictures are not the best as I was anxious to get it into the mail in time for the customer's birthday. She told me she loved it!!

Fun Red Flower Quilt!

I love the colors on this one and how fun it is! I had it mostly quilted and I decided I didn't like the way it was coming together so I did a lot of thread pulling. It is a ton better now!!!
