HMQS 2014 Favorites

Here are some of my favorite quilts from the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake last week.
This one is completely non-conventional. Lots of open space with little metal steam punk bits connecting the circles together.

All of the shading  and lines are done with stitching. It is really amazing to see up close. The gears in the mans chest are actual little metal embellishments.

The person who made this one made it for her daughter and son in law. It is their favorite music albums. They are all appliqued.

You can not see it from the picture but there are 27,000 crystal embellishments on this quilt. It is amazing!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

The little triangles on this one is called flying geese. I think it is hillarious. Flying geese with flying geese!

This one is amazing too. There are so many angles and sizes of pieces. The pieces in the center are only about 1 cm big finished size!
